I'm a native English speaker and adapt my lessons to the needs of each student, whether they prefer to focus more on speaking and pronunciation, writing, grammar, or technical English for certain professions. I worked in DXC Technology as a help desk analyst, so I'm familiar with IT terminology and concepts. I am a musician as well, but have researched English vocabulary for a gym instructor and taught him accordingly, for example.
I try to make my lessons fun and engaging, incorporating subject matter that the students are interested in, plus audiovisual aids, and let my students know it's okay to make mistakes because the important thing is to speak anyway and keep practicing.
I studied up to 7th semester of Musical Education in Venezuela and have taught private English lessons to both children and adults for 3 years now. I have also worked in schools with children ages 7-12 as a guitar instructor, and also music in general to children ages 3-12. I'm currently studying to obtain my TESOL certificate from ASU (Arizona State University) online.
